Off-the-shelf tools can do 100 things – just not the five your business actually needs.

We build the custom tool for the part no standard software covers, at speed, with senior engineers in control of the AI.

The real work happens in a spreadsheet.
Replacing it is still on the list.

  • Every configurator stops where your product rules begin.
  • Each system covers one step. You cover the gaps.
  • The plan depends on constraints that don’t fit into existing systems.
  • Nobody sells software for your kind of work.

But what was missing
never justified a software project.

What AI changed

Most of a software project is the same for everyone. That part is agent work now.

Agents handle the bulk.

  • Build the screens, forms and reports
  • Wire up imports, exports and the interfaces to your systems
  • Write tests, documentation and deployment, checked by engineers

One in three now builds instead of buying.

32% of organizations have decided against at least one software purchase because they could build it with agentic coding tools instead (McKinsey).

But agents build on what they’re told. Gaps included.

Given the same tasks with details left out, coding agents lose 29–64% of their solutions. With the details filled in, they recover most of them (Carnegie Mellon University).

Engineers make the calls.

  • Find every rule, explicit or implicit
  • Design the model: your data, your rules, the connections to your systems
  • Steer the agents so nothing is left out and nothing is wrong

How it works

Everything you work with today keeps running. The new tool takes over one step at a time, and only once it gets the same results.

  1. Review: thirty minutes, free.

You show us the process and what runs it today, we say how we would build a new tool for it.

  2. Foundation: two to four weeks.

Agents build the screens and interfaces, engineers pin down your rules. You get a plan for the whole tool and one part of it, built and running on your data.

  3. Build: increment by increment.

Each increment takes over a part of the process once it gets the same results, and goes live next to the systems you run.

  4. Handover: your IT runs it.

You own the code and get it agent-ready: the knowledge and the checks that people and agents need to keep changing it are in the repository.

Google, Cursor and Arduino build on tools we started.

We build custom software for experts in complex fields: we learn how they think, where their work gets stuck, and which abstractions make it easier. Agents now handle the bulk, steered and checked by the kind of tooling we have built for a decade.
